Troparion of the Mother of God of the Portal (Tone 1)
We honour thy icon, O Mother of God of the Portal, for it has come miraculously by sea to thy flock and is a source of holiness and a dwelling-place of thy glory. From it gifts pour to those who lovingly cry to thee: Glory to thy wonders, O pure Maiden; glory to thy providence; glory to thy goodness towards us.

This Icon is from the Iberian or Georgian monastery on Mount Athos, also known as Iveron. Once each year a copy is made of the original icon on Mount Athos and is sent back to Georgia. This particular icon has been instrumental in many miracles and healings. Even photographs and paper copies have been credited with aiding in miracles.
