Garden of Eden
The top semi-circle shows Christ, after creating the angels, creating mankind as the crown of Creation. On the right, Adam and Eve are in fellowship with God in the Garden. Jesus Christ instructs them not to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good & Evil. They are portrayed as fully clothed, because they knew no shame. The bottom half shows the temptation and fall. On the left is the Devil in the serpent whispering in Eve's ear. On the right, they are now naked and being cast out of the Garden. The Seraph with a sword guards the gate, so they cannot return to eat of the Tree of Life.
