Communion Hymn for the Apostles
Their sound hath gone forth into all the world. Alleluia!

In this icon Christ Himself is distributing Communion to the Apostles. This is not the Last Supper. This is the heavenly reality. Ss. Peter & Paul are equally at the head of the line & Judas is nowhere to be found. The original wraps around the Holy Table on four panels. We combined them here and repeated the Seraph for balance.

This Icon is by the hand of Nick Papas. It is from St. Philip Antiochian Orthodox Church, Souderton, Pennsylvania.
