Holy Friday
Do not lament me, O Mother, seeing me in the tomb, for I shall
arise and be eternally glorified as God.
I shall exalt all who magnify you in faith and in love.
This icon is 16th or 17th century Russian. It now resides on the East wall in the Altar at St. Philip's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Souderton, Pennsylvania.
