O Isaiah, dance thy joy: for a Virgin was with child and hath borne a son, Emmanuel, both God and man: and Orient is his name; whom magnifying we call the Virgin blessed.

Ye holy martyrs, who fought the good fight and have received your crowns: entreat ye the Lord that he will have mercy on our souls.

Glory to Thee, O Christ our God: the Apostle's boast, the Martyr's joy, whose preaching was the consubstantial Trinity.

This is the first of the miracles that Jesus did. It was performed at the wedding of Simeon, who then followed Christ as one of the Apostles. Here we see Mary interceding on behalf of the family and Jesus performing a miracle as unobtrusively as possible. He thus blessed the marriage without distracting people's attention from the Bride & Groom.

The text above is printed on the back with the icon on the front. It is a 2-5/8" x 4" card encapsulated in 10 mil mylar laminate with rounded corners for overall dimensions of 2-7/8" x 4-1/4".
