June 30, 2010: Since Cavalier Telephone can't switch two phone lines at once (not even with a computer), we will not have regualr access to our email or the internet for the next week until Verizon can install FIOS. Sorry for the inconvenience.
August 2009: We switched to 100% recycled particle board with white melamine coating for the icons. We are phasing out the laminated prints. We will continue to sell our existing laminated icons. Any that we are out of are printed with waterproof ink on adhesive vinyl.
January 8, 2008: Many people have noticed that there are fewer and fewer things made in the U.S.A. We would like to let our customers know that all of our icons are made in the U.S.A.

July 25, 2007: We are lowering our prices on all icons now marked $29.95 to $27.00.
May 30, 2007: The data recovery company was unable to recover anything from our hard drive. We are in the process of gathering all of our raw originals and rescanning and editing them for production. It will be a slow project, since it took seven years to gather all of the over a thousand icons on our site.
May 30, 2007: We are raising our prices on all icons now marked $24.95 to $29.95. All icons priced $21.95 and below are being raised by $4.00. All prayer cards formerly marked $1.10 will now be $2.00. We will be revising our church bookstore discounts.
May 23, 2007: The hard drive we have most of our icons on for printing has been fried. Therefore, we cannot print any out of stock items at this time. We are in the process of recovering the data. We are hoping for a full recovery. We are putting our trust in the recovery company to do their best. Please pray for a 100% recovery. In the meantime, please be patient with the delays. We will do our best to keep you aware of any new developments and how they affect your orders.
May 15, 2007: We'd like to reemphasize that all orders are prepaid. Please provide valid payment information at the time that you order. We will be producing icons ordered only after receiving valid payment information. If you request your order to be sent to you as a rush, it is imperative that you include payment information at the time that you order as we will not produce what you order until that information is received. For those choosing to pay by check, we will not produce your order until the check is received.
May 4, 2007: We have pictures of the installation of a fairly large Pantocrator icon by Nick Papas at Holy Trinity OCA in St. Paul, MN. The installation was done in April 2007.
May 2, 2007: Due to nationwide rising costs of shipping, we are sorry to announce that we have raised our shipping costs. It is now a minimum of $7 or 10% (whichever is higher) for all US mailings and $11 or 20% (whichever is higher) for all Canadian mailings.
January 31, 2007: Lydia has been working very hard to revamp the structure of our website. You won't notice too much difference in the look, other than the M list was divided. The update is to make the pages load a little faster. We had exceeded 2056 files in a single folder. We organized everything into subfolders. This will interfere with external links. I am sorry for the inconvenience. The pages are still named by their order numbers. They are just not going to be in the main folder. For example what was found at http://www.comeandseeicons.com/pdi04.htm will now be found at http://www.comeandseeicons.com/festal/pdi04.htm . Please let us know if we missed any links. Thanks!
January 13, 2007: It is our goal to add an average of one icon to the website per day for the remainder of the year. Keep checking the What's New page to see if we are keeping up.

5, 2007: We have recently formulated a Return Policy as follows:
Please
notify us immediately if you receive
damaged or defective products, referencing your Invoice #. All
returns must be considered within 30 days of receipt of products in
question.
No
returns will
be accepted unless there is a return approved prior to shipment of the
returns and the problem is a material or workmanship imperfection from
our production outside of the original artwork which is shown clearly
on our website. We reserve the right to determine what qualifies
as defective workmanship, so please provide us with the exact complaint
concerning the product in question.
A 25%
restocking fee is charged for all returns that are not damaged or are
found to be without defect. The customer is responsible for all
return shipping charges, as well as any additional shipping charges for
replacement product.
May 16, 2005: We will be phasing out the matte finish on the icons. It doesn't render the colors as well as the standard gloss finish. It is more difficult to work with. It doesn't sell well enough to justify the double inventory. We still have most icons in the matte finish. If you order one that we are out of, we will substitute the standard gloss finish.
