Habakkuk December 2nd
Troparion (Tone 4)
Of old thou didst describe the Virgin
Mother of God as a mountain from which the God of all would shine
forth in the flesh for our sake. Hence we honour thee as a
God-proclaiming prophet and beseech thee to make us partakers of
grace by thy intercessions, O glorious Habakkuk.
Zechariah February 8th
Troparion (Tone 4)
By thy deeds, wise Zechariah, thou didst
show that thou hadst righteously received thy name as a treasury
of God's inspiration, for Angels were thy companions in life and
thou wast a prophet of things to come. And now, as thou canst,
fulfil from on high our petitions.
