From the Anaphora
Let us stand aright; let us stand with fear; let us attend, that we may offer the Holy Oblation in peace.

This icon of Christ is the Pantocrator which means ruler or judge over all. It is the largest icon in the Church. Notice the book is closed and He is seated. This is an icon of Christ at the Final Judgment. St. Mary and St. John are bowing in submission and worship. They again are icons of the two Covenants. Both Old and New Testaments always point us to Christ. Notice that Mary has a blue inner garment signifying that she bears a glory of the earth. She wears a red cloak because she was overshadowed by the Almighty; red being a color of heavenly glory.

This Icon is by the hand of Nicholas Papas. It is on the upper East wall at St. Philip's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Souderton, PA.
