Let us stand aright; let us stand with fear; let us attend, that we may offer the Holy Oblation in peace.

This icon of Christ is the Pantocrator which means ruler or judge over all. It is the largest icon in the Church. This icon is on the ceiling of a large dome facing down over all who gather in the church. Notice the book is closed. This is an icon of Christ at the Final Judgment.

This icon is from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, (near Pittsburgh) by the hand of Constantine Youssis. Inscription is in Greek.
