Leaders of the Apostles and teachers of the world, pray to the Master of all to grant peace to the world and great mercy to our souls.

This Icon of the Apostle Peter is from the late 6th century or early 7th century. The original is at St. Katherine's Monastery at Sinai. Above him Christ, the Theotokos and, apparently, St. Menas are portrayed.
