Through thee the divine likeness was securely preserved, O Mother Veronica; for thou didst carry the cross and followed Christ. By example and precept thou didst teach us to ignore the body because it is perishable, and to attend to the concerns of the undying soul. Therefore, doth thy soul rejoice with the angels.

The text above is printed on the back with the icon on the front. It is a 2" x 4" card encapsulated in 10 mil mylar laminate with rounded corners for overall dimensions of 2-1/4" x 4-1/4". It is one of the "cloud of witnesses" series from St. Philip's Antiochian Orthodox Church, Souderton, PA. (See Hebrews 12:1-2.) The icon is by the hand of Nick Papas.
